After i put hdd caddy. All not running can not enter BIOS and can not get into windows. If my caddy is off all goes normal. .help me bro

the problem is DVD port use SATA, not SATA 2. So, it could be not allowed full performance
my laptop didn't come with an optical drive but it has the optical Bay, so would I need to buy an optical drive to take it out then put the hdd/ssd
