I'm uh, dealing with something somewhat worse. At times, my screen boots into a black screen only with the cursor. I can't use CMD or Task manager. When it doesn't boot into a black screen, and everything loads, I can't click anything and I can't use CMD. Everything is clickable but don't open. I tried opening windows update settings to see if I could do an update or anything, but the error message popped up.
it donot have clarity
Not right. This can also be caused simply by another instance of Windows Media Player running which should be checked first.
THANKS A LOT 100% WORKING THANKS MAN
Thank u so much
fuck another totrial !!
This is ridiculously complicated. The idiot billionaires at Microsoft should just release a fucking fix. CLICK AND FIX!
did not work
thank you very much
Thank You … it work
Thank You. It really works.
thank you !!! it works now !!! thanks again
Why the hell does it give a server execution failed message for a file on my C: Drive anyway? IT"S NOT ON A FREAKING SERVER! There isn't even a network here! The file is completely contained to a single hard drive, the primary at that, in this machine! The term server shouldn't even come up with any errors related to this file.
some body can help me ? doesnt work
yea simply works ….. https://support.microsoft.com/el-gr/mats/windows_media_player_diagnostic/en-us
No items match my search, when I type command prompt
I went on a site and it told me that I was hacked and froze my browser so I couldn't close it. There was a robotic voice talking but I was panicking so I couldnt hear what is said. I restarted in safemode quickly under the impression that it was an encryption virus. I got this error but everything else opens fine. Its fixed now thanks to method 2 in the description. 2 Questions; is this a permanent fix? i remember the voice mentioned something about stealing credit card info, am i safe? Browser was open for like 15 seconds.
I followed every step on this and my screen showed everything up like yours did. But it doesnt work
I'm getting this same error message, but it's when I open ANY folder, including My Computer. I tried this command prompt thing but it didn't work, I still get the same message. I hope I don't need to wipe the drive :/
any idea what causes this problem?
"the module "jscript.dll" was loaded but the call to Dllregisterserver failed with error code 0x80004005."
I was a bit wary (scared) of trying this but followed each step using pause, (doing the step required) and so on with every step, until I completed each task. Excellent all working. Very impressive. Many Thanks
'regsvr' is not recognized as internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
🙁
Hey everyone. I really hope this helps.
I came to this video and i'm sure it's great but i thought, it's late and i'm tired and then i thought of something.
I had the same problem on everything i open up in Windows Media Player. To fix this, i simply installed CCleaner and scanned for registry problems. I fixed them and my Windows Media Player is working every time.
Give it a shot and i hope it fixes it ^v^
So uh, I'm having this problem..but with my entire laptop. The only fix I have so far is to open command prompt with administrator mode and type "net user administrator/active:yes" minus the parenthesis, but it only fixes it until I restart the computer, something is up with the explorer.exe but I just can't figure out what or why. I've restored the computer, ran 2 virus scans and malware scans, deleted files, updated drivers, anything you could think of but nothing would work, if you could help with that it would be very useful for everyone, thanks! (since the uploader probably won't read this, any other commenter who understands computers could be great too)
Excellent, thank you so very much, great way to explain. Awesome!
it worked for me, windows 8.1 AFTER i had rebooted thanks
For Windows 8 64Bit follow two steps
1) regsvr32 jscript.dll in command prompt(Admin) and press enter.
2) regsvr32 vbscript.dill in command prompt(Admin) and press enter.
Add both steps in command prompt(Admin) it will definetly work
Thx for tutorial ! Great work !
I followed all the steps and the part where you said "It's fixed." I tried playing my video again and got the same error message.
This did not work for me, when I run wmp it times out after a minute or two and i get the same error message again. Restarting my computer solves the problem but this has been occurring more frequently and I don't want to restart my computer each time it happens.
when i type it into the Command Prompt i get this " The module "jscript.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependant .DLL files. The specified module could not be found"…… i have no idea what do to do at this stage. Some help would be much appreciated
Splitting tips into multiple videos is an annoying way to score views. Not cool.
I am running 64
